Frequently asked questions.
What does the 15% fee cover?
The management work on this page: listing setup and upkeep, publishing on the booking platforms we support, pricing and calendar management, guest communication and booking coordination, scheduling cleaning and arranging maintenance, and owner reporting. The fee is 15% of the net accommodation fee, after booking-platform fees. Cleaning, maintenance, booking-platform charges and taxes are charged outside the fee.
Are there setup fees or other charges?
There are no setup fees — the initial inspection, inventory planning and listing setup are included. Cleaning, maintenance and repairs, booking-platform charges and applicable taxes are separate where they apply; your proposal lists them before you sign.
Can I host only some of the year?
Yes. Choose the dates your home is available and we host it for those dates only, provided the home is eligible where it is — in Vancouver, only an eligible primary residence can be hosted.
Can I reserve dates for myself?
Yes. You can stay whenever the home isn’t booked. Tell us your dates and we block them; dates guests have already booked stay booked.
What happens to guest bookings that are already confirmed?
Once a guest booking is confirmed, it stays in place — we don’t cancel confirmed guest stays to free up dates. Block your own dates as early as you can and we keep them free.
Who handles guests and cleaning?
We do. Our team handles booking questions, arrival instructions and guests’ needs during the stay, and schedules a clean with local cleaning professionals after every stay. Cleaning is normally paid through the cleaning fee guests pay.
How are maintenance costs approved?
Repair quotes come to you for approval in your owner portal before the work goes ahead, unless they are under the limit you set for routine work. Your management agreement sets out how urgent repairs are handled.
When do I receive my money?
Payouts are made by the 15th of the following month. Each payout covers the reservations that started in the month before — a stay that begins in March is paid by April 15. You receive a report of the bookings, our fee and the expenses for the period.
What can I see in my dashboard?
Today your owner portal shows repair quotes waiting for your approval and the money held for your property. Bookings and vacation-rental income reports are sent to you by the team until the portal shows them.
Is my property eligible?
It depends on where the home is and what it is: local short-term rental rules, zoning and business licences, strata bylaws and, in Vancouver, the primary-residence requirement. We check eligibility with you before anything is listed.
How do I end the service?
There is no long-term contract. You can end the agreement with one month’s notice; confirmed guest bookings are honoured.
